Words by Lu Yawen

As part of NTUC Employment & Employability’s (e2i) Worker 4.0 initiative, the Wine Specialist 4.0 saw its official launch on 10 November at Roketto Izakaya.

A culmination of the Certificate in Wine Studies for beginners over a three-week period, trainer Lim Hwee Peng from WineCraft Marketing & Services presented students with their official graduating certificates. Among them were professionals from the F&B industry as well as e2i’s CEO, Gilbert Tan.

Students were given an opportunity to refresh what they learnt on vinification and viticulture as they participated in a red wine workshop, which highlighted a 2018 Boire Mavit du Bon Côté from the Languedoc-Roussillon region in France.
