Not your run of the mill bubble tea store, Signature KOI is the Taiwanese brand’s expansion into a dine-in seating area with pastries, confectionery and a small retail space. Favourites such as the Oat-Ba Earl Grey Milk Tea popular for its malty taste and spiked with Baileys is, of course, sold here too. End with their Dark Chocolate Olive Cake with a bittersweet frosting to cut through the sweetness. The only café with its own bouncy castle (for kids, not adults), Café Melba’s second outlet at Mediapolis turns the office building’s lawn into a family-friendly enclave on weekends. Many come for Full Melba Breakfast, a powerhouse meal with nine ingredients on a plate. But it’s the vegetarian Mozzarella Stuffed Potato Rosti that wins us over. The enormous folded goldenbrown potato pancake comes with two poached eggs and sour cream, sufficient to put anyone into
